Get Involved

First and foremost PaddlingABC is a community run wiki. You will get out of it what you put into it. With that in mind there are three key things you can do to support PaddlingABC and ensure it remains a valuable resource for years to come.

  1. Post river alerts if you know of any unexpected dangers or hazards on a river
  2. Add new rivers to the database, share the knowledge you have of your local paddling area so that more people can enjoy it!
  3. Update and edit river entries that are already in the database. There are some rivers that are more or less “complete” but there are others that need quite a bit of work.

The following is a list of RiverWiki entries that are tagged with “Needs_Work” which means that they are either incomplete or need some kind of updating. If you see a river on this list that you know well perhaps you can take a look and fix it.
