Miette River (AB) - Lower I
A casual float trip with nice views of the mountains. Good at all flows. There is a decent chance of seeing wildlife. There are several beaches available for a lunch stop if desired.

Takeout
From Jasper head south on Hwy 93A (Hazel Ave) for ~2 km. Park just after the Tekarra Lodge Resort before the bridge over the Miette River.
Put In
From the take out head back North on Hwy 93A. Turn left (West) at the junction with Hwy 16 and follow for ~2Km. Continue straight(West) through the the traffic light junction with Hwy 93. Park at the pull out on the South side of the road ~500m past the traffic lights.

Runnable during the spring, summer, and fall. Flow rates do not much affect the character or difficulty of this run but higher flows will make it quite a bit faster. Assess the flow at the take out, if it looks low it is low, if it looks high it is high.
