Fraser River (BC) - Canyon V
A pool drop grade V run, most of it is read and run depending on your skill and comfort. From the takeout hike along the river right trail to scout.
In the first canyon below the falls there are many lines to choose but left is the safe route as there are a couple of benign looking keepers.
Once you clear the first canyon the river opens up at Wonder Garden where you can go either left or right(watch for the large boulder seive in the right channel). As you enter the second canyon there are several rapids with some boogie water, holes and crashing waves before the river makes a broad left turn and straightens out for a bit of grade III that ends in a horizon line that is Fords Folly leading right into Terminator. Eddie left to scout. Terminator is the crux rapid of the run which is a green ramp leading into a hole that can be seen from Hargreaves bridge. After Terminator comes House Rock and the pool at the take-out

From Jasper head West on Hwy 16 to the Mt.Robson Cafe and gas station(~85Km)which is located at the intersection of Hwy 16 and Hargreaves Rd. Head South on Hargreaves Rd for ~1 minute(~1km) until you arrive at the pull out immediately before the bridge over the Fraser river(Hargreaves Bridge). Alternate take out is at the group campground, pull a U-turn at the bridge and head back towards the cafe, take your first left and park in the lot, follow the gravel road 500m to the river. Please do not block the gravel road that leads to the river as this is the way the raft companies access the water for the float trip. As an aside the cafe can be a nice place to stop as it has homemade soup which can be great after a cold run. This take-out is also the departure point for the float trip.
From the Take out go back to Hwy 16, turn right(East) and drive ~1.5Km to the Overlander Falls pull off on the right(South) side of the road. Park here and hike in ~500m to the river. Put in at the pool below the falls or bushwhack upstream to run the falls.
Pool drop canyon run, pushy at higher flows.
