Grade II deep sandstone/clay canyon, some boulder gardens, and at least one ledge drop of 2-3 feet. Hiking out would likely be unpleasant. Higher flows are more exciting. Excellent run for a strong beginner

From Edmonton drive West on Hwy 16 for ~100Km to the town of Entwistle. Turn North on Hwy 16A, passing through the Town of Entwistle and continuing for 1.1km past the provincial park boundary to the Pembina River Provincial Park campground and day use area on your right. Enter the day use area, keeping left to get to the parking area and boat launch.
Put in #1: From the takeout drive back to Hwy 16A and turn West (right). Follow for 8.6Km through the Town of Evansburg until you reach the junction with Hwy 22. Travel North on Hwy 22 for 900m to reach the put in at the bridge over the Lobstick river.
Put in #2: From the takeout drive back to Hwy 16A and turn West(right). Pass through Evansburg and at the junction with RR 75 Turn North. Follow for 1.2Km to the bridge over the Lobstick River.
