The run starts out pretty mellow and then feeds into Sabertooth(IV) followed by a grade III section and a couple of sizeable holes, after this the run mellows to the take out, or you can continue on with several Kilometers of grade I to link with the “Above the Kettle” section.
If this space is blank there have been no alerts posted for this specific river.
The symbols can be clicked on and provide some simple explanations of why they are there. You can also use the symbols to get directions from Google Maps to the put in/takeout. A handy thing!
From Highway 5 near Clearwater turn NW onto the Old North Thompson Rd E (This is across the highway from the Wells Grey Inn). Follow for 1.2km to the West side of the bridge over the Clearwater river. Take your first right(North) onto Camp 2 road which runs along the right river bank. Follow for 700m to where the road branches and turns to gravel. Turn Right and follow the gravel road into Wells Grey Park for ~25 Km here you will see SaberTooth. Takeout below as you see fit
Continue past SaberTooth until the road approaches the river and put in.
